What’s Booklet?
Booklet is a group app for work, where you can conduct discussions, meet other members, and share important information in a calm way. It’s built for teams that want thoughtful communication over real-time answers - such as professional networks and knowledge work teams. It’s built to be an asynchronous alternative to Slack - so that you can have discussions or announcements about important information without disturbing everybody’s work.
What have I accomplished since the last update?
In the last two weeks I’ve been working on memberships and invitations. This is the underlying structure that lets you be a member of a private group, and it also lets you invite somebody.
Here’s a 2-minute demo video of what I’ve done:

What’s next?
Permissions and access control - only let people access groups that they are a member of!
Group layout - what does it look like in the app when you join?
Posts - what does it look like to start a new discussion in the app?
How you can help ⬇️
Let me know your feedback, thoughts, and strong opinions! Specifically:
How do you use Google Groups?
How would you describe Google Groups to somebody who hasn’t used it before?
How does your company share top-down important announcements today?
Thanks 🙏
I've only ever seen announcements shared via slack, email, or synchronous meetings.
Been thinking for a while though about the need for open (like slack) yet slower (like email) methods of comms for companies.
Seems like you're thinking of this as a monetization path?
